Our History

We'd like to take a moment and share with you a little background on our company's history.

My wife Penny and I started Rick's Rags in 1984. Starting out with just a pair of scissors and a small pile of discarded clothes, we worked out of our mobile home, producing about 100 pounds of cleaning rags per week.

Today we produce around 100,000 pounds a month.

We are a family owned and operated business and believe in good old fashioned values; open, honest communications, a hand shake and customer satisfaction.

Hard work, determination and a good attitude are also key elements to our success.

We are presently serving over 2,000 repeat customers out of our 14,000 sq. ft. facility.

Our son Zack is Sales Manager and one day will carry on the family business.

As a reliable supplier of wiping cloths to a large and growing customer base, we typically produce cut rags at rates of up to 600 - 1,000 pounds per hour.

A large part of our bulk raw material comes from recycling several tons of waste material that would otherwise be contributing to America's growing landfill problem.
